November 2007 – Camstruction awarded contract from NHS Grampian for the refurbishment of the Kincorth Medical Centre – value £550,000.

13th October 2007 – Camstruction’s sponsored football team, Hillhead JFC hold their annual Gala Dinner at Aberdeen Airport Thistle Hotel with Frank McAvennie as the “Special Guest Speaker”. A good night was had by all and Camstruction’s boardroom has now gained a signed Liverpool football shirt!

October 2007 – Camstruction operatives, supervisors and managers sit the Constructionskills Health and Safety Test in order for each employee to have a CSCS Card.

September 2007 – One of Camstruction’s loyal, long serving employees is promoted to “Workshop Supervisor”. David Ross will continue to produce and oversee the production of the highest quality of joinery components, not only for our own contracts, but also for our long established customer base. David will bring a new aspect and enthusiasm to our Joinery Workshop.

September 2007 – Camstruction awarded contract from Aberdeenshire Council to complete two school extensions. Aboyne Academy is to have a £500,000 classroom extension and Kincardine O’Neil Primary School is to be furnished with a new £850,000 General Purpose Room and Office Facility. 5th August 2007 – Camstruction Directors, Managers and Site Foremen enjoy a day off at Knockhill Racing Circuit with Jim McDonald being awarded the “Driver of the Day” trophy. Click here to view

June 2007 – Camstruction are delighted to continue their association with Esson Properties by being awarded the contract to refurbish and upgrade another Category B listed granite building at Queens Gate in the West End of Aberdeen – value £830,000.

May 2007 - Camstruction awarded contract from Esson Properties to refurbish and upgrade a Category B listed granite building at Fountainhall Road in the West End of Aberdeen – value £400,000. This project subsequently completed to the satisfaction of the client in terms of both programme and standard of workmanship. Consequently leading to a further project for Esson Properties.

6th January 2007
- Total value of contracts secured for 2007 exceeds £4 million.

20th December 2006 – In an innovative step, all full-time employees with over one years continuous service are enrolled within Camstruction’s private healthcare scheme.

13th December 2006 – Camstruction awarded contract from Aberdeen City Council to construct a new children’s residential home at Willowbank Road, Aberdeen – value £1.1 million; commencing February 2007, with a 49 week contract period. Click here to view

25th October 2006 – Camstruction awarded contract from Aberdeen City Council to construct new football pavilion at Hazlehead Park – value £2.1 million; commencing January 2007 with a 48 week contract period. This is the largest single project ever undertaken by Camstruction. Click here to view

24th September 2006 – Camstruction are the “In Safe Hands” sponsors for the Aberdeen v Hearts SPL match at Pittodrie Stadium, where Construction Director, Mike Allan is presented with a memento of the occasion by Aberdeen striker, Steve Lovell. Click here to view
